The Aisle's Quiet Poetry — ninety seconds on the part of the retail day nobody films. The facing. The zoning. The walking the same stretch of floor until your feet know it the way a choir knows a hymn.
Why I made it
Because retail is the most-watched, least-seen work in America. Everyone stands in the aisle; almost nobody notices the person who made it a straight line. This film is my love letter to that invisible mirror, to the shelf that reads like a sentence.

Made between shifts, cut to the record-spin tempo of the station wagon radio on the way home from Trenton.
